YOUNG OFFENDERS ACT 1993 - SECT 21
If the Court finds a youth guilty of a major indictable offence, the Court
should record a conviction for the offence unless there are in the opinion of
the Court special reasons for not doing so, and a formal record of those is
made in the Court's reasons for judgment.
