(1) A person who makes
a disclosure of false public interest information knowing it to be false or
being reckless about whether it is false is guilty of an offence.
Penalty: Division 5 fine or division 5 imprisonment.
(2) A person who makes
a disclosure of public interest information in contravention of this section
is not protected by this Act.
