subsection (2), if any land is sold or the title to any land is
transferred, the vendor or transferor must, within 30 days after the
completion of the sale or transfer, give to the Valuer-General a notice
containing prescribed particulars of the transaction in writing.
Maximum penalty: $2 500.

Subsection (1) does not apply in respect of land that has been brought
under the provisions of the Real Property Act 1886 .
