South Australian Consolidated Acts (1) For the purposes
of this Act, the Valuer-General or a person authorised in writing by the
Valuer-General may—
(a)
enter upon any land and make any inspection, measurement or survey necessary
or expedient to determine the value of the land; and
(b) put
to the owner or occupier of the land or any person on the land any questions
relating to the value of the land.
(2) A person must not
hinder or obstruct the Valuer-General or a person authorised in writing by the
Valuer-General in the exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (1)
or refuse or fail truthfully to answer a question lawfully put to him or her
under that subsection.
Maximum penalty: $2 500.
