STATE THEATRE COMPANY OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA ACT 1972 - SECT 16
(1) The Board must,
from time to time, prepare and submit to the Minister a budget for the next
financial year or for some other period determined by the Minister.
(2) The budget must
set out estimates of the Company's receipts and expenditures for the period to
which the budget relates.
(3) The budget must
conform with any requirements of the Minister as to its form and the matters
to be addressed by the budget.
(4) The Minister may
approve a budget submitted under this section with or without modification.
(5) Subject to
subsection (6), the Board must not, without the consent of the Minister,
make an expenditure that is not provided for by a budget that has been
approved by the Minister under this section.
(6) The Board is not
required to have the approval of the Minister with respect to the expenditure
of money received by the Company by way of a testamentary or other gift.
