STATE RECORDS ACT 1997 - SECT 30
(1) An official record
produced from State Records will have the same evidentiary value as if it were
produced from the agency from which it was obtained.
(2) An apparently
genuine document purporting to be a copy, or to state the contents, of an
official record in the custody of State Records and to be certified by the
Manager as an accurate copy, or statement of the contents, of the record will
be accepted in any legal proceedings, in the absence of proof to the contrary,
as proof of the contents of that record.
