(1) A person who
carries on rental business consisting of or involving dutiable rental business
must be registered.
Maximum penalty: $10 000.
(2) The section
applies—
(a)
irrespective of where the rental business is transacted; and
(b)
whether or not the person is resident, or has a place of business, within the
State.
