South Australian Consolidated Acts South Australian Consolidated Acts27—Operations for enrichment or conversion of uranium not to be carried
on until proper controls imposed
(1) A person must not
carry on an operation for the conversion or enrichment of uranium.
Maximum penalty: $50 000 or imprisonment for 5 years, or both.
(3) This section will
expire on a date to be fixed by proclamation.
(4) A proclamation
must not be made for the purposes of subsection (3) unless the Governor
is satisfied that proper provision has been made for the control of operations
for the conversion or enrichment of uranium.
