RAILWAYS (OPERATIONS AND ACCESS) ACT 1997 - SECT 49
49—Termination of arbitration in cases of triviality etc
(1) The arbitrator may
terminate an arbitration if the arbitrator thinks—
(a) the
subject matter of the dispute is trivial, misconceived or lacking in
substance; or
(b) the
person on whose application the dispute was referred to arbitration has not
engaged in negotiations in good faith.
(2) The arbitrator may
terminate an arbitration by consent of the parties.
