South Australian Consolidated Acts9—Administrative units to have Chief Executives
(1) There is to be a
Chief Executive of each administrative unit.
(2) A Chief Executive
is to be appointed by the Governor.
(3) The Governor may
assign a title to a position of Chief Executive and may subsequently alter the
title.
(4) When—
(a)
there is a temporary vacancy in the position of Chief Executive of an
administrative unit; or
(b) the
Chief Executive is absent from, or unable to discharge, official duties,
the Minister may assign an employee to act in the position or the Minister
responsible for the unit may assign an employee in the unit to act in the
position.
