South Australian Consolidated Acts (1) A member of
the Board will be appointed for a term not exceeding three years and will, on
the expiration of a term of office, be eligible for reappointment.
(2) The Governor may
remove a member of the Board from office—
(a) for
misconduct; or
(b) for
neglect of duty; or
(c) for
incompetence; or
(d) for
mental or physical incapacity to carry out the duties of office
satisfactorily.
(3) The office of a
member becomes vacant if the member—
(a)
dies; or
(b)
completes a term of office and is not reappointed; or
(c)
resigns by written notice addressed to the Minister; or
(d) is
removed from office by the Governor under subsection (2).
(4) Upon the office of
a member becoming vacant, a person must be appointed in accordance with this
Act to the vacant office.
