PETROLEUM (SUBMERGED LANDS) ACT 1982 - SECT 84

84—Production and inspection of documents

        (1)         The Minister may require any person to produce to him or to make available for inspection by him any documents in the possession or under the control of that person and relating to a transfer or dealing in relation to which approval is sought under this Division.

        (1a)         The Minister may require any person to produce to the Minister or to make available for inspection by the Minister any documents in the possession or under the control of that person and relating to an application made to the Minister under section 78(1) or (3) or 86A(2).

        (2)         A person shall not fail or refuse to comply with a requirement given to him under subsection (1) or (1a).

Maximum penalty: $5 000.
