South Australian Consolidated Acts17—Control of offensive activities
(1) If an
activity—
(a)
gives rise to a risk to health; or
(b)
results in the emission of offensive material or odours,
the authority may, by notice in writing to the person responsible for the
activity, require that person to desist from the activity or to observe
requirements stipulated in the notice in relation to the carrying on of the
activity.
(2) A person who,
without reasonable excuse, fails to comply with a notice under
subsection (1) is guilty of an offence.
Penalty: Division 5 fine.
Expiation fee: Division 6 fee.
