(1) If premises are in
an insanitary condition, any person who is responsible for causing the
condition or allowing the condition to occur is guilty of an offence.
Penalty: Division 5 fine.
Expiation fee: Division 6 fee.
(2) It is a defence to
a charge for an offence against subsection (1) to prove that there is a
reasonable excuse for the condition of the premises.
