POLICE (COMPLAINTS AND DISCIPLINARY PROCEEDINGS) ACT 1985 - SECT 47

47—Application to Supreme Court as to powers and duties under Act

        (1)         Where—

            (a)         in relation to a complaint about the conduct of a designated officer; or

            (b)         in relation to a matter raised for investigation on the initiative of the Authority,

a question arises as to the duties or powers of the Authority, the Commissioner or another designated officer, the Authority or the Commissioner may apply to the Supreme Court for a determination of the question.

        (2)         On an application under subsection (1), the Supreme Court may make such order as it thinks proper and the Authority or the Commissioner, or both, as the case may be, must give effect to the order.
