that a person is a member of S.A. Police, or holds a particular position or
rank in S.A. Police, is proof of that matter in the absence of evidence to the
contrary.
(2) An apparently
genuine document purporting to be signed by the Commissioner certifying that a
specified person was at a specified time a member of S.A. Police, or the
holder of a specified position or rank in S.A. Police, will be accepted as
proof, in the absence of proof to the contrary, of the matter so certified.
