South Australian Consolidated Acts67—Divestment or suspension of powers
(1) If a person ceases
for any reason to be a member of S.A. Police, all powers and authorities
vested in the person by or under this or another Act or any law as a member of
S.A. Police or constable are divested from the person.
(2) If a person's
appointment as a member of S.A. Police is suspended, all powers and
authorities vested in the person by or under this or another Act or any law as
a member of S.A. Police or constable are suspended for the period of the
suspension.
(3) Unless the
Commissioner otherwise authorises by instrument in writing, if a person who is
a member of S.A. Police is seconded to a position outside S.A. Police, all
powers and authorities vested in the person by or under this or another Act or
any law as a member of S.A. Police or constable are suspended for the period
of secondment.
