South Australian Consolidated Acts41—Medical fitness of occupational therapist or
occupational therapy student
If—
(a) on
the application of—
(i)
the Registrar; or
(ii)
the Minister; or
(iii)
a representative body; or
(b)
after an investigation under section 40 has been conducted,
the Board is satisfied, after due inquiry, that an occupational therapist or
occupational therapy student is medically unfit to provide occupational
therapy and that it is desirable in the public interest that an order be made
under this section, the Board may, by order—
(c)
suspend the person's registration until further order of the Board or for a
specified period determined by the Board; or
(d)
impose 1 or both of the following conditions on the person's registration:
(i)
a condition restricting the person's right to provide
occupational therapy;
(ii)
a condition requiring the person to undergo counselling
or treatment or to enter into any other undertaking.
