South Australian Consolidated Acts16—Time within which complaints may be made
(1) Subject to this
section a complaint under this Act must not be entertained by the Ombudsman if
it is made after 12 months from the day on which the complainant first had
notice of the matters alleged in the complaint unless the Ombudsman is of the
opinion that, in all the circumstances of the case, it is proper to entertain
the complaint.
(2) For the purposes
of this section a complainant will be presumed to have had notice of the
matters alleged in the complaint at the time he or she might reasonably be
expected to have had such notice.
