South Australian Consolidated Acts19M—Establishment of consultative committees
(1) The Minister may
establish consultative committees to represent the community interest in the
management of reserves and the conservation of animals, plants and ecosystems
in a particular part of the State.
(2) The members of a
consultative committee must be persons who, in the opinion of the Minister,
have local knowledge that is relevant to, or who are interested in, the
management of reserves or the conservation of animals, plants and ecosystems
in the part of the State in relation to which the consultative committee is
established.
(3) Members of
consultative committees hold office at the pleasure of the Minister.
