South Australian Consolidated ActsWhere a patient is detained in an approved treatment centre and the director
of the centre is satisfied, upon the certificate of a psychiatrist, that
another approved treatment centre is better equipped for the care and
treatment of that patient, the director—
(a) may
authorise the transfer of the patient to that other centre; and
(b)
must, unless of the opinion that it would not be in the best interests of the

or readily ascertainable by the director.
