(1) A miner's right
shall, subject to this Act, remain in operation for a period of 3 years from
the date of issue.
(2) A mining registrar
may, upon receipt of an application in the prescribed form lodged with him
within 1 month before the date on which a miner's right is due to expire and
accompanied by the prescribed fee, renew the miner's right for a further
period of 3 years.
