South Australian Consolidated ActsThe Governor may make regulations for the purposes of this Division—
(a)
prescribing and providing for the payment of fees for an audit or examination
under this Division; and
(ab)
prescribing qualifications for approved auditors generally or for specified
classes of approved auditors; and
(ac)
prescribing records to be kept by legal practitioners for the purposes of the
Division; and
(b)
generally ensuring that the accounts and records required to be kept under
this Division are properly kept and audited and that persons beneficially
entitled to money and securities held by legal practitioners on trust are
properly informed of the investment and disposition of the money and
securities; and
(c)
exempting legal practitioners from this Division, or specified provisions of
this Division, in respect of transactions of a specified class; and
(d)
prescribing fines not exceeding a fine of $10 000 for contravention of
any regulation under this Division.
