South Australian Consolidated Acts27—Criminal liability of directors
Where a company that is a legal practitioner commits an offence against this
Act, or any other Act, each person who was a director of the company at the
time of commission of the offence by the company is guilty of an offence and
liable to the same penalty as that prescribed for the principal offence,
unless that person proves that he or she could not, by the exercise of
reasonable diligence, have prevented the commission of the offence by the
company.
