LIMITATION OF ACTIONS ACT 1936 - SECT 35
35—Actions on simple contract and in tort
The following actions namely:
(a)
actions founded upon any simple contract express or implied, or upon any award
where the submission is not by specialty;
(b)
actions of account or for not accounting;
(c)
actions founded on tort;
(d)
actions or other proceedings to recover arrears of rent where the letting is
not by deed;
(e)
actions to recover arrears of interest in respect of any sum of money charged
upon any land or rent or arrears of interest in respect of any legacy;
(f)
actions to recover damages in respect of any such arrears of rent or interest;
(g)
actions for seamen's wages;
(h)
actions for money levied on a fieri facias or for an escape;
shall, save as otherwise provided in this Act, be commenced within six years
next after the cause of action accrued and not after.
