LIQUOR LICENSING ACT 1997 - SECT 107
107—Minors not to be employed to serve liquor in licensed premises
(1) If a minor is
employed to sell, supply or serve liquor on licensed premises, the licensee is
guilty of an offence.
(2) However, this
section does not prevent the employment of a minor to sell, supply or serve
liquor on licensed premises if—
(a) the
minor is of or above the age of 16 years, a child of the licensee or a
responsible person for the licensed premises and resident on the premises; or
(b)
—
(i)
the minor is of or above the age of 16 years and a child
of the licensee or a responsible person for the licensed premises; and
(ii)
the licensing authority, on application, approves the
employment of the minor for that purpose.
