South Australian Consolidated Acts (1) Subject to this
Act, the Authority must have rules that—
(a) make
provision for the nomination and election of persons as elected members of the
Board; and
(b) set
out—
(i)
the procedures for placing items of business on the
agenda for general meetings of the Authority; and
(ii)
the procedures to be followed at general meetings of the
Authority.
(2) The Authority
may—
(a) make
provision in its rules for matters other than those referred to in
subsection (1); and
(b)
amend its rules in accordance with procedures set out in the rules.
(3) However, the
rules, and any amendments to the rules, have no force or effect unless and
until—
(a)
approved at a general meeting of the Authority; or
(b)
approved by a majority of the members of the Authority in accordance with a
procedure set out in the rules.
(4) The annual report
must include details of any amendments made to the rules during the relevant
financial year.
