South Australian Consolidated Acts99—Allegations to be " "prima facie proof"
The allegations in any complaint laid in respect of any alleged offence or
offences against this Act—
(a) that
any person, firm, company, or partnership (as the case may be) named in the
complaint is the owner, user, or occupier (as the case may be) of any place,
room, or premises mentioned in the complaint:
(b) that
any horse race, dog race, cycle race, or foot race, or coursing event (as the
case may be) mentioned in the complaint was run at a place and on a date
therein specified, and that any horse or horses, dog or dogs, or person or
persons named in the complaint took part in any race or coursing event therein
mentioned,
shall be accepted by the court as evidence of the truth of such allegations
unless the contrary is proved.
