sent, exhibited, or published any letter, circular, telegram, placard,
handbill, card, or advertisement or shall make or cause to be made any
announcement by means of any wireless broadcast—
(a) from
which it appears that any person, either in the State or elsewhere, will on
application give information or advice for the purpose of or in respect to any
bet on any event or contingency of or relating to any race, fight, game,
sport, or exercise, or will make on behalf of any other person any such bet:
(b) with
intent to induce any person to apply to any house, office, room, or place, or
to any person with a view to obtaining information or advice for the purpose
of any such bet or with respect to any such event or contingency:
(c)
inviting any person to make or take any share in or in connection with any
such bet.
Maximum penalty: $5 000.
