If after service on an owner, in pursuance of paragraph (b) of
section 83 of notice of the making of a declaration with respect to a
house, office, room, or place, and while the declaration is in force, that
house, office, room, or place is used in contravention of this Act, the owner
shall, unless he proves that he has taken all reasonable steps to evict the
occupier from the same, be guilty of an offence.
Maximum penalty: $5 000.
