South Australian Consolidated Acts76—Allowing use of premises as common gaming-house
No owner or agent acting on behalf of the owner and no occupier of any house,
office, room, or other place shall allow or permit it to be used as a common
gaming-house: Provided that an owner or agent who is not an occupier, and who
was in ignorance of and had no reasonable grounds to suspect such use, or had
taken all reasonable steps to prevent it, shall not be guilty of an offence.
Maximum penalty: $5 000.
