South Australian Consolidated Acts75—Occupying a common gaming-house
(1) A person who is
the occupier of a common gaming-house is guilty of an offence.
Maximum penalty: $20 000 or imprisonment for 1 year.
(2) In proceedings for
an offence under this section it will be presumed, in the absence of proof to
the contrary, that the defendant knew that the house, office, room or place
was being used as a common gaming-house.
