LOTTERY AND GAMING ACT 1936 - SECT 64

64—Unauthorised totalisator betting prohibited

        (1)         No person shall conduct totalisator betting.

Maximum penalty: $20 000 or imprisonment for 1 year.

        (2)         No person shall make a bet with a person, if the acceptance of the bet by that person constitutes an offence against subsection (1) of this section.

Maximum penalty: $5 000 or imprisonment for 6 months.
