LOTTERY AND GAMING ACT 1936 - SECT 63

63—Unlawful bookmaking

        (1)         No person shall act as a bookmaker.

Maximum penalty: $50 000 or imprisonment for 4 years.

        (2)         No person shall make a bet with a person if the acceptance of the bet by that person constitutes an offence against subsection (1) of this section.

Maximum penalty: $5 000 or imprisonment for 1 year.
