South Australian Consolidated Acts (1) For the purposes
of this Act, or the special Act, the Authority or any person authorised in
writing by the Authority, may—
(a)
enter and remain upon any land with any assistants, vehicles, machinery or
equipment; and
(b)
affix or establish any trigonometrical stations, survey pegs, marks or poles
and from time to time alter, remove, re-instate, or remove them; and
(c) dig
or bore into the land.
(2) The Authority
must, at least 7 days before entering land under subsection (1), give
notice to the owner and occupier of the land. 1
(3) A person
who—
(a)
wilfully and without authorisation from the Authority, interferes with any
trigonometrical stations, survey pegs, marks or poles; or
(b)
wilfully obstructs any person acting in accordance with this section,
shall be guilty of an offence and liable to a penalty not exceeding two
hundred dollars.
