South Australian Consolidated ActsIn this Act, unless the contrary intention appears—
"the Board" means the Libraries Board of South Australia;
"council" means a municipal or district council and includes a body corporate
exercising the powers of a municipal or district council;
"library materials" means books, magazines, newspapers, records, cassettes,
films, videotapes and other materials of a kind commonly lent by, or available
for reference at, a library;
"the repealed Act" means the Libraries and Institutes Act 1939 repealed
by this Act.
