(1) Notwithstanding
the provisions of sections 25 and 26 any land within an irrigation area may be
offered on perpetual lease on such terms and conditions and in such area or
areas as may be fixed by the Land Board and approved by the Minister.
(2) The Land Board
shall fix the annual rent to be paid for such land.
