South Australian Consolidated Acts South Australian Consolidated Acts (1) As soon as may be
after the thirtieth day of June in each year the Minister shall cause to be
prepared a report containing the following matters, namely:
(a) a
report of the proceedings under this Act during the last previous financial
year setting forth the contracts entered into, works carried on or completed,
and the transactions generally under this Act during the year;
(b) a
balance-sheet and financial statement with respect to each irrigation area;
(c) a
statement of the moneys received and disbursed under this Act during the year,
setting forth the matters in respect of which they have been received and the
purposes for which they have been disbursed, and showing in regard to each of
such matters and purposes the balance of receipts and disbursements brought
forward from the previous year, and the balance at the end of the financial
year dealt with in such statement;
(d) a
balance-sheet and a report upon the operation of Part 6 of this Act.
(2) Such annual report
shall be laid before both Houses of Parliament in the month of October in each
year if Parliament is then sitting, and, if Parliament is not then sitting,
then within fourteen days after the commencement of the next session thereof.
