"landholder" means—
(a) a
lessee or owner of any block within an irrigation area;
(b) the
holder on lease or agreement for sale or purchase of any land which is charged
with a mortgage to secure the repayment to the Minister of any advance made
under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act 1934 or any Act repealed by
that Act;
(c) the
owner of any estate of freehold in land which is charged with a mortgage to
secure the repayment to the Minister of any advance made under the
Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act 1934 or any Act repealed by that Act;
"person" includes firm, company, body corporate, and incorporated or
unincorporated association of persons.
