INHERITANCE (FAMILY PROVISION) ACT 1972 - SECT 5
(1) Subject to
subsection (2) of this section, this Act shall apply in relation to the
estates of all deceased persons, whether they died before or after the
commencement of this Act.
(2) Where the whole or
any part of the estate of a deceased person has been lawfully distributed
before the commencement of this Act, no person shall, in respect of that
estate or that part thereof, as the case may be, be entitled to claim the
benefit of this Act unless he would have been entitled to the benefit of an
order under the Acts repealed by this Act.
