FAIR WORK ACT 1994 - SECT 67
(1) Wages accrue under
a contract of employment from week to week.
(2) However—
(a) if
an employee is employed on an hourly basis, wages accrue from hour to hour;
and
(b) if
an employee is employed on a daily basis, wages accrue from day to day; and
(c) if a
person is employed on neither an hourly nor a daily basis, but the period of
employment is less than a week, wages accrue at the end of the period of
employment.
