The Commissioner of Police is the Registrar of Firearms.
(2) The Registrar may,
by instrument in writing, delegate to any person any of the Registrar's powers
and functions under this Act.
(3) A delegation under
this section is revocable at will, and does not prevent the exercise of any
power or function by the Registrar.
(4) The Registrar may
not delegate the function of classifying information as criminal intelligence
for the purposes of this Act except to a Deputy Commissioner or Assistant
Commissioner of Police.
