South Australian Consolidated Acts (1) Before the
committee makes any decision upon a matter arising under this Act, it must
allow the Registrar, and any other person with a direct interest in the
matter, a reasonable opportunity to make representations orally or in writing
to the committee.
(2) In investigating
any matter arising under this Act, the committee is not bound by the rules of
evidence but may inform itself in any manner it thinks fit.
(3) The committee must
maintain the confidentiality of information provided to the committee by
the Registrar that is classified by the Registrar as criminal intelligence.
