South Australian Consolidated Acts29—Commission's power to require information
(1) The Commission
may, by written notice, require a person to give the Commission, within a time
and in a manner stated in the notice (which must be reasonable), information
in the person's possession that the Commission reasonably requires for the
performance of the Commission's functions.
(2) A person must
comply with a requirement under this section.
Maximum penalty: $20 000 or imprisonment for 2 years.
(3) A person cannot be
compelled to give information under this section if the information might tend
to incriminate the person of an offence.
