ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION ACT 1993 - SECT 61A
61A—Proclamation of water protection areas
(1) The Governor may,
by proclamation made on the recommendation of the Authority, declare any part
of the State to be a water protection area and may by subsequent proclamation,
vary or revoke such a proclamation.
(2) The Authority must
consult the Water Resources Minster and the Minister for the time being
administering the Waterworks Act 1932 before making a recommendation to
the Governor under subsection (1).
