South Australian Consolidated Acts South Australian Consolidated Acts (1) No civil or
criminal liability will attach to the State Co-ordinator, an authorised
officer or other person for an act or omission in good faith—
(a) in
the exercise or discharge, or purported exercise or discharge, of a power or
function under this Act; or
(b) in
the carrying out of any direction or requirement given or imposed in
accordance with this Act in relation to an emergency.
(2) A liability that
would, but for subsection (1), lie against a person lies instead against
the Crown.
