South Australian Consolidated Acts28—Commencement of prosecutions
(1) Proceedings for an
offence against this Act must be commenced within three years after the date
on which the offence is alleged to have been committed.
(2) Proceedings for an
offence against this Act must not be commenced by a person other than the
Director or an inspector except with the consent of the Minister.
(3) An apparently
genuine document purporting to be a certificate of the Minister certifying
that the Minister has consented to the commencement of proceedings for an
offence against this Act will, in the absence of proof to the contrary, be
accepted as proof of the matter so certified.
