South Australian Consolidated Acts South Australian Consolidated Acts (1) A person must not
carry on operations in the electricity supply industry for which a licence is
required unless the person holds a licence under this Part authorising the
relevant operations.
Maximum penalty: $1 000 000.
(2) The operations in
the electricity supply industry for which a licence is required are—
(a)
generation of electricity; or
(b)
operation of a transmission or distribution network; or
(c)
retailing of electricity; or
(ca)
system control over a power system; or
(d)
other operations for which a licence is required by the regulations.
(3) Nothing in this
section requires AEMO to hold a licence.
