South Australian Consolidated Acts (1) A person
who—
(a)
obstructs or hinders an inspector; or
(b)
interferes with, or prevents the exercise of, a power conferred by this Act
upon an inspector; or
(c)
disobeys a lawful order or direction of an inspector; or
(d)
refuses or fails to answer truthfully questions put by an inspector pursuant
to this Act,
is guilty of an offence.
Maximum penalty: $5 000.
(2) A person is not
required to answer a question put by an inspector if the answer to the
question would tend to incriminate him or her of an offence.
(3) If a person is
guilty of an offence under subsection (1) and that person, or the
employer of that person, is licensed under this Act, that licence may be
revoked by the Director.
