South Australian Consolidated Acts39—Boats carrying explosives to be licensed and provided with tarpaulins
(1) No boat shall be
used for the conveyance of explosives unless—
(a) it
is approved by the Director or it is the property of the Minister of Marine;
and
(b) it
is provided with such tarpaulins or other coverings as the Director may
direct.
(2) A person who
conveys explosives, or causes explosives to be conveyed, in a boat that does
not comply with subsection (1) is guilty of an offence.
Maximum penalty:
(a) in
the case of a body corporate—$35 000;
(b) in
any other case—$5 000 or imprisonment for 12 months, or both.
